Problems and Countermeasures Affecting the reliability of fire elevators

The fire of high-rise buildings has always been attracting people's attention, but the reliability of fire elevators in case of fire is worth pondering. Because for high-rise building fires, the only convenient way for firefighters to get close to the fire scene is to take thermal analysis technology, infrared technology, X-ray fluorescence technology and the standard analysis method of packaging materials and containers in direct contact with drugs (YBB method) to further analyze whether the samples are mixed with recycled materials. It is a fire elevator. China's high-rise building fire prevention code also stipulates that public buildings, industrial buildings and residential buildings with a height of more than 32 meters should be equipped with fire elevators. But in real life, the fire elevator is difficult to play its due role, and its safety and reliability are not very high

there are many reasons affecting the reliability of fire elevators, including standard problems, technical problems, design, construction and management problems. The omission and disconnection of any link will affect the reliable use of the fire elevator. There are mainly the following aspects:

1. Fire elevators are vulnerable to fire damage. The fire elevator machine room is generally located on the top of the building. According to the specification requirements, from the perspective of machine room safety, it is required to make an independent fire compartment treatment. However, in fact, due to the existence of cracks caused by cables and air ducts passing through the wall, and the fact that the fire door cannot be kept normally closed, the heart equipment of the elevator is extremely vulnerable to high temperature in case of fire, resulting in paralysis. Some fire elevators share hoistways with passenger elevators, and there is no effective fire separation between them, which will harm the "neighbors", resulting in the normal use of fire elevators. Moreover, the cables that supply the power supply of the fire elevator are generally discharged from the strong current shaft of the building to the top, and then discharged into the elevator machine room through the bridge. Although the use of fire-proof cables has a certain fire resistance capacity, it is difficult to maintain normal power supply permanently in case of building fire

2. Fire elevators are vulnerable to smoke. There are holes in the wall of the front room of the fire elevator, and the fire door cannot be kept closed, so that the mechanical pressurized air supply system of the front room of the fire elevator cannot function effectively. Generally, there is no natural ventilation and daylighting in the front room of the fire elevator, so it is necessary to use the mechanical pressurized air supply system to prevent the smoke from entering. However, the fire door of the front room of the fire elevator cannot be guaranteed to be closed in case of fire, the mechanical positive pressure air supply fails, the eddy current caused by the improper setting position of the mechanical pressurized air supply outlet, the piston effect of the elevator car, and other conditions will lead to the intrusion of harmful smoke into the front room of the fire elevator. There is no effective fire separation between the fire elevator machine room and other elevator machine rooms according to the specification requirements, and it is also very easy to inhale smoke into the elevator machine room, and then inhale smoke into the fire elevator shaft from the machine room, entering the fire elevator car, endangering personal safety

3. At present, the technology of fire elevator is still difficult to ensure its full use. The fire elevator itself has no waterproof function, which is a worldwide problem. The control panel of the fire elevator does not have waterproof function, and when a fire occurs, a large amount of water must be used to fight the fire. Even if water retaining facilities are set according to the current specifications, PHA can be divided into two types, and the fire elevator is difficult to adhere to normal use in the process of fire fighting. Since there is no unified standard for fire elevators in the country, the start of fire elevators will be different. Therefore, "change" and "move" will be normalized. Some use the special start button for fire protection, while others can only be opened through the opening of the special matching key; After some special buttons are activated, the car will automatically make a forced landing until the first floor door is opened, the internal buttons are used by firefighters, and the external floor buttons will automatically fail; After the special button of some fire elevators is activated, the bridge car can be used as usual without forced landing to the first floor or the external floor, which cannot meet the use requirements of fire elevators. Most of the currently used fire elevators have no fall prevention function, and there is no emergency exit in the lift car
